My name is Hope Danielson and along with my husband Justin, we are Arrowhead Chesapeakes.

We live in Western Washinton south of Tacoma.

Our journey with Chesapeake Bay Retrievers began over 15 years ago with our first boy from Chesaroyal Chesapeakes. He was everything the breed was meant to be -- intelligent, driven, handsome, and with a heart of gold.  A true water dog, he lived for retrieving and was the ultimate hunting companion, yet at home he was a loyal, steady and full of personality. That foundation inspired our passion for the breed and our commitment to continuing those same qualities in our own dogs today.  We strive to produce well-rounded Chesapeakes that can excewl wherever life takes them -- from the duck blind to the show ring, performance events or simply as a devoted family companion. Our goal is to honor the breed's heritage while preserving the versatility, temperament and working ability that make the Chesapeake Bay Retriever truly special.

ARROW was my first Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He was from Chesaroyal Chesapeakes. He is the inspiration for the name Arrowhead Chesapeakes! He was an amazing dog with great looks, temperament and drive. He was our hunting dog and faithful companion. He passed in 2023 and will never be forgotten.
